A Woman’s Place/Life Impact Network survives only through the grace of God and the continued support of our volunteers and financial supporters. If you are looking for a way to serve your community in defending the sanctity of human life, then we’ve got a spot just for you. Whether it’s counseling face to face with a woman in crisis, working the registration table at one of our events, or helping to organize baby clothing and supplies, there is a volunteer opportunity that fits your personality and time availability.
There is always a place for you to get involved in the ministry of A Woman’s Place/Life Impact Network. Some of our current volunteer needs include:
Pregnancy Services/Client Support – Do you have a listening ear? A heart for young women in search of some guidance? As our ministry grows, we continue to see more and more women in need of someone to talk to during their time of crisis, and we are always in need of volunteers willing to sit with them through this challenging time. No experience necessary, training & support provided.
Pregnancy Services/Heroes Program – Have you ever wondered who is talking to the guys involved in these crisis pregnancy situations? After all, “it takes two to Tango!” We want to reach out to the “other half” of the crisis pregnancy equation and we are looking for a “few good men.” If you are a man with a heart for mentoring young men facing life-changing circumstances, have we got an awesome opportunity for you! No experience necessary, training & support provided.
Walk for Life/Event Support – Our annual Walk for Life is Saturday, April 25th. This year we have expanded to 2 locations, Ballast Point Park and Idlewild Baptist Church, and we need more help than ever.
Walk Liaisons – get your friends, church, Bible study group, MOPS group, PTA, and work buddies involved in a great event with a wonderful purpose. You may even get a free t-shirt for your time! :^)
Event Support – 2 sites mean twice as much work the day of the event. We are looking for help in a number of areas, so if you are available, then we can put you to work!
