We offer 4D ultrasounds as a way for parents and family to bond with their unborn baby. Through the use of high frequency sound waves an image is created of the baby and projected onto a screen. With this real time, life like images parents may be able to catch the baby smiling, sucking their thumb, or waving. Please note that Baby Bonding Experience is not a diagnostic ultrasound; it is for bonding purposes only.

Is it safe?

Prenatal ultrasound had been widely used by healthcare professionals for over 35 years. Routine scanning of all pregnancies is normal throughout the United States. If you have any concerns about the safety of ultrasounds please consult with your healthcare professional.

Do I have to see a doctor before I visit Baby Bonding Experience?

YES. Women seeking an elective prenatal ultrasound with Baby Bonding Experience must be receiving prenatal care form a healthcare professional. A diagnostic ultrasound to confirm their due date, screen for fetal anomalies, and to diagnose any other pregnancy related issues needs to have been conducted before an appointment at Baby Bonding Experience can be made.

Please bring a signed acknowledgement from your doctor stating that you have received a diagnostic scan.

Can family and friends come to my appointment?

We welcome your family and friends to share in the joy of this experience. Our state of the art sonogram room can comfortably seat 3-4 adults. Children are welcome, however most children quickly become board and restless. Many parents cannot enjoy seeing their new baby while trying to entertain a young child.

What is the best time for a Baby Bonding Experience Ultrasound?

The quality of the scan will be determined by the amount of fluid present, along with the position and size of the baby. The best images are usually taken between 26 and 32 weeks. If the baby is not in a good position for the ultrasound, one additional appointment may be made to try again.

Will my insurance cover Baby Bonding Experience?

Since Baby Bonding Experience is not a diagnostic ultrasound, it is not presently covered by insurance. Please pay with Visa, Master Card, or cash before your ultrasound.

How long will my appointment take?

In addition to your scheduled ultrasound scan time, you will need to plan for an additional 45 minutes. When you first arrive it will take a few minutes to sign in. After your scan it will take approximately 30 minutes to have your photos and video produced.
